BSc (Hons), MSc, FDSc, MBACP, MIBWRT (reg.)
I specialise in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), a type of counselling that has been shown to help most psychological problems, and BWRT.
We are all unique but we all have the capacity for change. I love helping clients to understand themselves, and how they can think and do things differently, in order to feel better and make the most of their lives.
As all counsellors should, I have regular supervision and carry out continuous professional development (CPD).
I also counsel for Carers Trust (Heart of England) and previously for Coventry & Warwickshire Mind.
I work solely with adults.
With a background in service delivery and senior management, latterly in charities and social enterprises, I retrained as a counsellor and psychotherapist to focus on a life-long interest.
My qualifications include an honours BSc, and an MSc in Organizational Behaviour (with merit), as well as the foundation degree in counselling and psychotherapy (CBT) (awarded with distinction).
Registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy), working within their Ethical Framework.
Qualified to level one in BWRT (Brain-Working Recursive Therapy) and a registered member of The Terence Watts BWRT Institute.
Master Practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)
