My approach to counselling & psychotherapy
CBT and BWRT Therapy in Leamington Spa and Online
We all have the potential for good mental health — but life experiences, difficult thoughts, and emotional challenges can sometimes get in the way. Therapy offers a space to understand what’s going on beneath the surface and to discover new ways to relate to yourself and the world around you.
Using a CBT framework, I integrate other approaches to meet your specific needs. In my experience most issues, from simply feeling stuck, to the most challenging difficulties, can be resolved. We’ll begin with whatever you want to get out of therapy and build from there.
A combined, collaborative approach
No two people are the same — so whilst I specialise in CBT, I combine other evidence-based therapies to meet your needs.
Together, we’ll find a way of working that suits you — supporting you to feel clearer, more grounded, and more able to handle whatever life brings.

Types of therapy I offer
CBT
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
CBT helps you explore how your thoughts, emotions and behaviours are connected. It offers practical strategies to manage anxiety and build resilience, while also helping you understand and shift deeper patterns and beliefs that may be holding you back.
ACT
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
ACT supports you in acknowledging difficult thoughts or feelings without being overwhelmed by them. It helps you take action aligned with your values — even when life feels uncertain — so you can move towards a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
NLP
Neuro-Linguistic Programming
NLP offers a wide range of techniques to help you access inner strengths, change how you respond to challenges, and reframe negative thinking patterns. It’s a flexible and empowering approach that supports positive change.
BWRT
BrainWorking Recursive Therapy
BWRT is a fast and focused neuropsychotherapy that can be highly effective for anxiety, trauma, intrusive thoughts, unwanted habits, and a myriad of other things. It works at the level of the brain’s automatic responses — helping you change how you feel and react, without needing to spend time revisiting distressing memories.
The Rewind Technique
This gentle method can help reduce the emotional charge of traumatic memories. It’s often used for PTSD and trauma-related anxiety, helping you feel safer and more in control.
